In today's industry, many hip-hop artist are seeking to find other ways to bring in revenue to their account. Jay-z Hip-Hop Mogul has been a great example on how to make money not only from rapping, but through Fashion, commercials, Clothing lines, Ace of Spade champaigne, Movies, etc. The line you can bullshit with rap if you want mufukas, was in jay-z fourth Album The Dynasty. he was expalin how being a rapper didnt pay much, because of how many expenses that you have as a artist, from producers, writers, presidents of the company and A&R's you will get left with what you came in with Nothing, so if you are a hip-hop artist or juast artist period, please dont limit yourself to just one craft because you will have to face the harsh realities of being broke. In today's hip hop world we are held hostage. From the records sells failing because of downlaoding and the content of the music that is being judge by the media. The parents complain about their children and the music that they listen too, saying that it influence them in a negative way. The parents want to protest along with some of our religion leaders against hip-hop music. Hip-hop is suppose to be a gateway for artist to express themselves and their living conditions, they should not suffer for their lyrics, instead the parents should teach their children wrong from right, let me know what think?
